The Road to ILC Aklan: DECIDE.PRAY.FIND WAYS
I’ve been to succeeding camps and events the past weekends and most were held out of town. The joy that I feel every time I go to different places is always the same. Travelling and exploring spots have been some of my most loved activities, and this summer, I will experience that again as I travel to Aklan for my 5th ILC.
I know that all of us have different reasons as to why we go to conferences. Maybe for some, it is for the inspiration-filled sessions and sharings in the conference, for the Lord’s message revealed to them during the event. But we can’t also deny that some us doubt if we could go because of some circumstances. These three tips have helped me with my decision to attend the ILC. DECIDE: Decide that you will attend the conference. Say YES for ILC AKLAN! For the first timers, maybe it would be a conference of God’s affirmation in your life and also for those who have attended the ILCs for many times. The Lord will never fail to amaze us with His blessings and messages in the conference. So, decide to go to Aklan for ILC 2012. Our decision will always bring us there.
PRAY: Pray for your decision. The Lord has always affirmed us with His words “Ask and you will receive; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened unto you.”(Luke 11:9). Pray for no conflicts in your schedules, for the permission of your parents and even for the simple problems that hinders you to go. Our prayers and our faith has always been the strongest weapon that we have against the flaming arrows of doubt.
FIND WAYS: Problems with money? Money will never be reason for us not to go. For if you only believe that God provides, He will really do. You still have a few days before the deadline of the registration, seize every moment of it to find the resources that you need. Act on it. “Kung ayaw may dahilan, kung gusto palaging merong paraan”.
I am so excited to experience more fun in ILC AKLAN! If you have attended the regional conferences, get ready to experience fun, friendship, freedom and faith times ten and a hundred more! If the past years’ themes were all about our convictions, this year would be truly amazing for the theme “ALMIGHTY” is focused on God alone. There are maybe thousands of people there but the Lord’s message will be personal to us. Know our God and Experience Him more in this year’s ILC AKLAN. Decide, Pray and Find ways. See you in AKLAN!
