YFC VIP TORCH Party: Partying for God
“And the winner is…” This is a famous line that we can hear from awards shows such as the Academy Awards [OSCARS]. In our case, the champions for God gathered together in the recently concluded YFC VIP TORCH PARTY held at the Meralco Fitness Center last July 30.
The TORCH Party is an annual event to welcome new TORCH members and to reunite all TORCHIES who have been serving the YFC mainstream in years. This is the first activity of the program, a fellowship aiming to have fun, friendship, faith and freedom as its finest. As Torchies arrived at the venue, most of them lined up on the red carpet wearing their glamorous “DRESS TO IMPRESS” outfits and posing for shots from the official photographers on the photo wall.
The program started with an opening worship lead by TORCH sector youth head Evan Ray Cabigon. There are some awards given to Torchies and Couple Coordinators who have excelled their service in YFC and who shined on the red carpet. Here are the winners:

The party is a celebration of thanksgiving. The TORCHies are prepared to share the torch of leadership of their parents to continue the mission, as it is handed from their parent’s generation to theirs, being the next 20 years of leaders of CFC. The party ended with a Praise and Fashion of the TORCH sector youth heads and full-time pastoral workers and the praisefest led by Torch international program head Ghamay Pepito.
